Borrowing aviation equipment and items from FlyTrader couldn’t be easier!

Policies

Items on FlyTrader platform should be consistent with the description provided by the Lender. If a Borrower who books and pays for an Item and then experiences a ‘Renting Issue’, the Borrower may be eligible for a refund in accordance with this Borrower Refund Policy.

FlyTrader may (at our discretion) provide the Borrower with either a full or partial refund excluding any shipping costs, administration fees and processing fees.

A valid ‘Renting Issue‘ generally falls into three categories:

The Lender cancels a reservation 24 hours or less before the scheduled arrival of the Item, or fails to provide the Borrower with the Item.
The description of the Item in the Listing on FlyTrader is materially different from the actual Item. FlyTrader reminds Borrowers that Items are potentially pre-used and are not rented on an as-new basis. Some minor wear and tear may not be listed in the description but can not be used as a basis to provide a refund under this policy.
At the start of the Borrower’s reservation, the Item: (i) is not generally clean and sanitary (ii) contains safety or health hazards that would be reasonably expected to adversely affect the Borrower’s use of the Item in FlyTrader’s judgment.

To submit a valid claim for a refund, a Borrower is required (a) to bring the Renting Issue to our attention within 2 hours after receipt of the item (including photographs or other evidence) and respond to our requests for information or cooperation, (b) not have directly or indirectly caused the Renting Issue and (c) to have used reasonable efforts to try to remedy the circumstances of the Renting Issue with the Lender prior to making a claim for a Renting Issue.

Cancellation Policy

All users must comply with a standardised cancellation policy that FlyTrader will enforce to protect both Borrower and Lender alike. Each listing and reservation on our site reminds users of the cancellation policy.

Lender

A lender can cancel an order at any time prior to shipping without a liability to the Borrower. All amounts paid by the Borrower to the Lender will be refunded to the Borrower minus any service fees owed or paid to FlyTrader.

Borrower

A Borrower can cancel an order 24 or more hours ahead of shipping without any liability to the Lender. All amounts paid by the Borrower to the Lender will be refunded minus any service fees owed or paid to FlyTrader.
A Borrower can cancel an order within the 24 hour from the shipping time and the lender will retain 20% of the rental cost. The remaining 80% of the Rental Fee will be refunded to the Borrower minus any service fees owed or paid to FlyTrader.

Content Policy

By posting content on FlyTrader, you agree to abide by these guidelines and other FlyTrader policies. We reserve the right to remove content, in whole or part, that violates these guidelines or FlyTrader’s Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

In the event of repeated or severe violations, we may suspend or permanently deactivate the account(s) in question. FlyTrader ‘s determination on whether any specific content is prohibited will be final and conclusive.

You can contact us to contest a post or to report content that violates our Terms of Service or Content Guidelines.

Listings and Profiles

We expect Lenders to create listings that are honest, clear, and helpful to potential guests. We prohibit:

Advertising or other commercial content.
Content that endorses or promotes illegal or harmful activity or violence, or is profane, vulgar, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or discriminatory.
Political, religious, or social commentary.
Attempts to impersonate another person.
Content that is fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive.
Content that refers to an investigation being undertaken by FlyTrader.
Content that violates another person or entity’s rights, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights.

Copyright Protection

Only legitimately purchase copies of textbooks are acceptable and able to be rented on FlyTrader.
You may rent out printed books, provided they are not infringing copies, or imported copies whose importation required permission and the permission was not obtained.
Photocopied textbooks are not allowed under Australian or New Zealand Copyright Law, and will be removed, with with full prosecution rights to the copyright holder.
